Think Solutions Engineering
Think Solutions Engineering (TSE) provides engineering consulting services to a select group of clients. On the aerospace and defense side, TSE has helped clients on engineering problems related to propulsion systems, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), heat transfer, experimental ground testing, and flight vehicle design and development. On the energy side, TSE has provided clients with CFD and finite element analysis (FEA) for enhanced oil recovery systems, hydrogen production, hydrogen transport in pipelines, pipeline rupture, and mixing device effectiveness.
Expertise and Resources
TSE has expertise across the entire technology readiness level (TRL) range, including theoretical analysis, conceptual design, engineering simulation, component testing, prototype development, large scale experimental testing, and flight-vehicle demonstration. The organization has dedicated high-performance computing (HPC) resources combined with state-of-the-art engineering simulation tools to provide rapid and accurate analyses of new aerospace technologies. TSE also has facilities for advanced manufacturing, including CNC machining equipment, additive manufacturing systems, and electronics development/testing hardware. Private and public partnerships have provided TSE with access to world-class flight-test ranges to evaluate these aerospace technologies.
Custom Engineering Projects
TSE has also designed custom experimental apparatuses for companies and universities related to shock tubes, water tunnels, flumes, and laser diagnostics.
